An Apria Diabetes Educator’s main goal is to see the individual patient as a unique individual and create a learning plan that will help that person meet their specific needs. Once they get to know you and your situation, your Diabetes Educator will focus on the aspects that actually benefit you, and make changes when necessary.
Diabetes Educators are passionate about the care provided to their patients — and helping them better understand how to take care of themselves is very important to them. Your Diabetes Educator will listen to your individual concerns and help you to learn how to handle them.
Meet Apria’s Certified Diabetes and Education Specialist
"My name is Carly and I am the Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) at Apria Healthcare.
As a CDCES, I am available to talk to patients about the way Diabetes affects your life. Some areas that I can be of service are medication management, nutrition, exercise, self-monitoring of blood glucose education, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) education, and managing the stressors of Diabetes. Diabetes management does not have to be scary or done alone.
Give us a call to see how we can be of further service to you.”
